Miso Ramen
味噌ラーメン

Miso broth is typically made with a combination of miso paste, dashi (a broth made from dried fish and seaweed), and various vegetables and seasonings. The resulting paste can range in color from light yellow to dark brown, with lighter-colored miso pastes resulting in a milder flavor and darker-colored miso pastes resulting in a stronger, more robust flavor.

A little fun fact behind, the history of miso itself can be traced back to ancient China, where it was known as “jiang 醬”. The fermentation process was later introduced to Japan in the 7th century, where it became an important part of the Japanese diet. Miso is also recognized for its potential health benefits, including being a good source of protein, vitamins, and minerals, and containing probiotics that can promote gut health.
